10:00: Meet at the Club Ramon Hotel – our guests will be given refreshments including cold drinks, coffee and pastries.
10:30: Off-road (4×4) vehicle tour of the Makhtesh Ramon crater (about 4 hours) – panoramic view of the Makhtesh from Camel Mountain. Travel to the marble-quarrying area of Mitzpe Ramon. Observe Bedouin families from the El-Azazme tribe, including an explanation of Bedouin life in the desert. Travel to the sculptures promenade and descend into the crater. Hike on Carpentry Hill, then experience a fascinating ride within the Nahal Ramon riverbed to Gvanim Stream and Ein Saharonim.
14: 30-15: 30 Lunch at Club Ramon.
15:30: Go north to the “Neve Midbar Estate” between Mitzpe Ramon and Be’er Sheva.
16: 00-18: 00: “Wet recreation” at Neve Midbar Estate, the Negev’s spa and baths complex. The estate covers an area of 8,000 square meters and includes 4 thermo-mineral pools. The modern building is air-conditioned in the summer and includes a dry and wet sauna, a Jacuzzi, extensive lawns and a cafeteria.
